Younger visitors – Rainbow pad
As if family, beach, sea, fresh air wasn’t enough, we try to provide other pastimes too. Along with two refreshement outlets, we have a small, safe, patch of sand, and a colourful ‘hopscotch’ style facility painted by volunteers.
The Heritage Trail
Seaford is full of history and, with our partners at the Museum and Heritage Society, we are intent on showing it off. The Museum is of course the jewel in their crown, not the Partnership’s. Our input has been to establish a History trail, signposted from the seafront, to enable visitors and locals alike to explore and to learn. Here’s a link to it.
The Exercise Path
We helped establish and sign an exercise path using the entire Seafront between the foot of the cliffs at Splash Point and The Shoal, and the historic Tide Mills ruins near the River Ouse mouth (Newhaven). Link to it from here.
The Salts all-weather, all-age, open air gym
Set centrally in The Salts, (adjacent to the seafront). The gym was developed by the Seaford Youth Forum with support from Seaford Town Council, Seaford Rotarians, Lions and other charitable bodies.
