Annual General Meeting 2025

The Partnership’s AGM is on Friday 24 October 2025 at 7.00 pm. It will be in Crossways Church Hall, which is on the junction of Clinton Place and Broad Street North.

The business part of the meeting should last no longer than 10 – 15 minutes, and we then have another talk by Charlie Grimble – details below.

Could Seaford be an even better place?

Nearly every day, I travel along the seafront or walk  in the town centre and think how fortunate we are in Seaford. We have great views over the Bay; a good range of shops; and many local clubs that give us a real sense of community.

The Seaford Community Partnership is a group of volunteers who have been working since 2002 with local authorities, particularly Seaford Town Council, to make Seaford a better place to live, work, and relax. For example, we’ve planted many trees (this task has now been continued, most effectively, by Trees for Seaford); created a beach garden adjacent to Hardwick House on the seafront;

The Partnership has been very fortunate, for our AGM again this year, in getting Charlie Grimble to give us a talk, based on his latest research, with the title “Seaford Heritage Trail revisited 22 years on.” Charlie will be speaking after the AGM.

The information Boards for the Heritage Trail are in very poor condition:

Charlie has reviewed the properties in the Trail, and will probably add some more in the light of the  research he has done over the past few years.

AS above, the formal part of the AGM should not take more than 10 minutes, so there will be plenty of time to hear Charlie and to hear your views on possible enhancements to the town. We will also give a brief update on our various Climate Change related Projects, including the Cliff Gardens project.

We hope to see as many as possible of you for an interesting and useful meeting.
